About Maggie
Ms Winterstein has over 25 years practice as a lawyer, currently specialising in Youth Advocacy. She has governance experience as a board member of Youthline, the Rise UP Trust, Rise Up Academy and Rangitoto College. She believes in the transformative power of education and is actively involved with a wide variety of children-centred organisations. She has also served as a committee member of various organisations including the Pacific Lawyers Association, the South Auckland Bar and Criminal Bar Associations.

About Taulutoa
Taulu (New Zealand-born Samoan/Niuean) has consistently advocated for the next generation of youth and tertiary leaders in Aotearoa across academia, the arts, and sports.
For many years, Taulu has been a supporter of Rise Up, believing in the methods and learning styles it offers to both parents and children within the context of learning through a Pasifika lens.
Currently, Taulu remains engaged in education and the creative arts within the church, community, and secular realms.

About Bruce
Bruce is in his 4th year as a Service Manager for Pacific Mental Health and Integrated Care North, Te Whatu Ora Counties. Prior to his current role, he was the Service Manager for Waitemata DHB’s Pacific Mental Health Service – Takanga a Fohe for six years and Manager of Tupu Services for four years. He has worked as a counsellor for several years in CADS and for the Gambling Helpline. He started his career in mental health and addiction 27 years ago as a Youth Alcohol and Drug Worker in Pacific Islands Drug and Alcohol Services (PIDAS) in South Auckland.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Post Graduate Diplomas in Health Science and Business and a Masters in Health Management. Bruce holds his extended Samoan Family’s Matai title of Pulotu, from Malaemalu, Falealili.
