Our Volunteers

Rise UP Academy is a partnership school that provides parents with meaningful opportunities to volunteer. It is a vital part of its Kaupapa. We ask our parents to COMMIT to at least 40 hours of volunteer service each year to help accomplish the mission of the school. Volunteering activities could look like: Afterschool programme supervision, laminating resources for teachers, school trips, language weeks, parent committee. We believe through volunteering there is a sense of community and family.  Through the volunteer arm relationships between the parents have been built and engagement with the school is strong.
